Snow Day / Emergency Day

On days where inclement weather prevents students from attending Anna-Jonesboro Community High School, the school day will be classified in one of two ways.

 1. Traditional Snow Day

• No attendance for students or staff
• No assignments for students
• Enjoy the day off

2.  E- Learning Day

Teachers

• Teachers will post 2 assignments on Google Classroom for each class before 9:00 AM

• 1st Assignment (Attendance) - this is just an attendance check-in
• 2nd Assignment - school work for the day; students must complete prior to returning to school the following day

• Teachers will enter attendance into TeacherEase to record student attendance, attendance should be entered between 1 and 2 pm.
• Teacher should regularly check email to answer any questions from students

Students

• Students must log into Google Classroom and complete the 1st Assignment (Attendance Check-In) for each class. This must be completed before 1:00 PM

• Students who do not participate in attendance check-in will be counted as unexcused
• Parents may excuse absences using the same procedure as they would on a normal school day

• Students must complete the 2nd Assignment (Daily Work) before class the next day
